
Dr. Neha Ghose

Dr Neha Ghose (MBBS, MS, FICO, FLVPEI) is an Oculoplastic surgeon and Ocular Oncologist providing ophthalmic plastic surgery-related services at all centres of Suseela Netralaya.
She completed her medical education at Calcutta National Medical College. She pursued her post-graduation at Regional Institute of Medical Sciences, Ranchi and is a Gold Medal recipient in the subject of Ophthalmology (awarded by the Hon’ble Smt DroupadiMurmu).
She then went on to train in Oculoplasty, comprehensive ophthalmology and cataract surgery for 3 years at LV Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad, where she received world-class training from some of the best surgeons in the field. Thereafter, she led the Department of Oculoplasty for a year at LV Prasad Eye Institute, Vishakhapatnam campus before joining SuseelaNetralaya as a full-time consultant.
Her speciality focuses on treating diseases of the eyelids, tear ducts, thyroid eye disease, abnormal bulging or appearance of the eyes, abnormal twitching or tremors of the eyelids or face, and the fitting of implant and cosmetic prosthetics in cases where eyes have been damaged. Dr. Ghose has extensive experience in treating benign and malignant tumours of the eyelids, eyes, and orbits.

She specializes in the treatment of watering eyes due to blocked tear ducts, a common problem affecting infants, young children, and adults, offering both endoscopic (scarless) and external surgical options, as appropriate.

Dr. Ghose also treats patients with trauma around the eyes, repairs fractures of the orbital walls, and lacerations of the skin around the eyes. She addresses cosmetic concerns such as droopy eyelids and wrinkles with surgery or Botox injections, in a safe and experienced manner.
Apart from clinical work, Dr Ghose is scientifically and academically inclined and has authored multiple scientific papers in ocular oncology in peer-reviewed journals. She is actively involved in teaching fellows in the institute and is associated with many ophthalmological societies to engage with other leaders in the field and acquire updates from across the world, which then can be translated to patient care.
